Q: Is a prescription required?

A: Yes! We require prescriptions for any product that requires a prescription in the USA. Just like visiting your local pharmacy we require a valid prescription for your medications regardless of where your order is being fulfilled. For your valid prescription to be accepted it must be from a physician licensed to practice in your area of residence.

Q: Is there a limit on how much I can buy?

A: Yes, you may purchase only a maximum of a 3 month supply of each of your medications. Provided that you have a valid prescription for that supply of medication. If your physician writes a prescription for more than a 3 month supply then we can fill those refills as they come due.

Q: What country can you accept prescriptions from?

A: Discount Meds of Canada is able to accept prescriptions written by a licensed prescriber from any country in the world. Narcotic and Controlled medicines cannot be shipped internationally despite physician license. As is standard policy, Discount Meds of Canada will verify through many different means the licensure of the prescriber with local regulatory authorities in that country before filling the prescription.

Some of the more popular countries that Discount Meds of Canada accepts prescriptions from are:
United States of America
Canada
Great Britain
Australia
France
Japan

Each country has different rules and process regarding the import of medications. Our highly skilled international support team will work with you to ensure your order is handled appropriately and accurately.

A: Unfortunately no.  We will provide you with a proper receipt for insurance purposes. Your insurance company may or may not accept our receipts.

How do I pay for my order?

Discount Meds of Canada is pleased to offer several convenient payment options. In order of preference they are:

    • Direct withdrawal from a checking account: This avoids the high processing fees credit card companies charge us for processing credit cards. Patients are also not forced to pay international transaction fees on top of their order costs (usually 1%-5%).

    • Personal Check/Money Order: This is a tried and trusted method of payment. Checks cannot be hacked and are very secure. Patients who wish to pay by check may do so provided they provide us with a form of government issued ID, ex. a driver's license number or passport number. If you are willing to provide this information Canada Drugs will grant you credit on your account and ship your order before receiving the check. This ensure you get your medication as soon as possible.

    • Visa/MasterCard: Canada Drugs understands that many patients prefer to use their Visa or MasterCard credit cards to pay for their orders. It is important to remember that these cards are not accepted by all our pharmacy partners. Your patient service representative will inform you if paying by Visa or MasterCard is an option for your particular order.

    • Check Finance Plan: If the cost of buying a three month supply is too high to do in one lump sum, you can take advantage of our check finance plan. You would send us three checks, each for one third of the order amount. The first check would be dated for deposit right away while the second would be dated for one month later; the third dated for two months later. This allow patients to spread the cost of their medications over three months. Even better, no interest is charged.

Discount Meds of Canada does not accept the following under any circumstances:

    • Health savings cards

    • Flexible spending cards

    • Coupons or discounts for local businesses or manufacturers.
