Q: Is a prescription required?

A: Yes! We require prescriptions for any product that requires a prescription in the USA. Just like visiting your local pharmacy we require a valid prescription for your medications regardless of where your order is being fulfilled. For your valid prescription to be accepted it must be from a physician licensed to practice in your area of residence.

Q: Is there a limit on how much I can buy?

A: Yes, you may purchase only a maximum of a 3 month supply of each of your medications. Provided that you have a valid prescription for that supply of medication. If your physician writes a prescription for more than a 3 month supply then we can fill those refills as they come due.

Q: What country can you accept prescriptions from?

A: Discount Meds of Canada is able to accept prescriptions written by a licensed prescriber from any country in the world. Narcotic and Controlled medicines cannot be shipped internationally despite physician license. As is standard policy, Discount Meds of Canada will verify through many different means the licensure of the prescriber with local regulatory authorities in that country before filling the prescription.

Please Note: That while we may accept prescriptions written by a licensed prescriber in these, and other, countries, import restrictions in those countries may prohibit some medications from being shipped there. Each country has different rules and process regarding the import of medications. Our highly skilled international support team will work with you to ensure your order is handled appropriately and accurately.

Q: Why can't I buy Valium, Tylenol #3 or similar medications from your pharmacy?

A: Discount Meds of Canada's policy is to not sell any narcotics, controlled substances or habit forming medications.

Q: Will you accept my insurance?

A: Unfortunately no.  We will provide you with a proper receipt for insurance purposes. Your insurance company may or may not accept our receipts.

How do I pay for my order?

Discount Meds of Canada is pleased to offer several convenient payment options. In order of preference they are:

Direct withdrawal from a checking account: This avoids the high processing fees credit card companies charge us for processing credit cards. Patients are also not forced to pay international transaction fees on top of their order costs (usually 1%-5%).

Personal Check/Money Order: This is a tried and trusted method of payment. Checks cannot be hacked and are very secure. Patients who wish to pay by check may do so provided they provide us with a form of government issued ID, ex. a driver's license number or passport number. If you are willing to provide this information  Discount Meds of Canada will grant you credit on your account and ship your order before receiving the check. This ensure you get your medication as soon as possible.

Visa/MasterCard:  Discount Meds of Canada understands that many patients prefer to use their Visa or MasterCard credit cards to pay for their orders. It is important to remember that these cards are not accepted by all our pharmacy partners. Your patient service representative will inform you if paying by Visa or MasterCard is an option for your particular order.
